Painting with a Twist: Take a couples painting class. There are special Valentine’s Day classes on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, the 14th. You can make one larger picture together, or do individual paintings. There is also Mom & Me Painting classes offered. Prices vary from $25-$35 per person. Check the website for class times and events.
Michaels: Sign up for a DIY craft class at Michaels! There are several classes including a fun chalkboard frame with a heart cut out, a cupid’s arrow valentine’s and a Valentine dream catcher.Classes vary from free to $2 a person. Register for a class online.
Home Depot: This is a great daddy/daughter date idea (I actually signed up my husband and kid). In this hands-on workshop, you will build a wooden Valentines mailbox to hold cards! After the mailbox is built your child can personalize the project with paint. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a free workshop apron and pin. Cost is just $6! Register online here.
