Sarcastic, funny, and real: that’s Frankie V in three words. He cut his teeth in college radio, landed his first paid radio gig in sales, of all places, and has been on the air since 2002. He’s worked pretty much every shift and title there is, including overnights, mornings, middays, nights, weekends, music director, and assistant program director, across Top 40, hot AC, and rhythmic. The highlight of it all? Co-hosting the V Bros alongside his younger brother, Mikey V.
Off the air, this Massachusetts native splits his time between the gym and dad duty, because for Frankie, family is everything. Any free time he has is spent with his wife, Courtney Jo, his daughter, Jasmine, and their Frenchie named Luna. He gives back through the V Family Foundation, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, children’s hospitals, and many other causes. Fun fact: he spent his college summers as a teacher’s assistant in a special education classroom. His favorite concert was New Kids on the Block, and Cole Swindell’s “You Should Be Here” never gets skipped because it reminds him of his dad, Big Frank. Can’t decide on dinner? Neither can he. It’s often Chinese or Italian.
