The World's Longest Pedestrian Bridge is Open and NOPE!!!

If you aren't a fan of heights, my bad. The world's longest pedestrian bridge just re-opened in Portugal. The bridge is 516 meters long (that's more than FIVE football fields) and is located in the town of Arouca. If you want to get across quickly, you can do it in about four minutes. For those that want to take in the sights, the bridge trip will take about 10 minutes.

Steel cables hold up the bridge with two huge V-shaped towers on each end. In a statement about the bridge, they say, "This bridge aims at targeting the interest of different types of people: engineering lovers, nature connoisseurs, people who are fond of extreme experiences."
