Zara Larsson Describes ABBA Inspiration & Shooting Four Music Videos

Zara Larsson sits down for a Zoom with Maxwell to talk all things quarantine, dancing in her new music video for Love Me Land and being inspired by ABBA.

Iconic, is the only way to describe the group ABBA. Larsson speaks highly of 70s/80s group. "One day that’s where I want to go," says Larsson describing the group, "They have a way of writing that’s so unique."

As far as her own music Larsson loves how she has been able to get her music out even during this pandemic. She describes her love for dance to Maxwell saying, she always wanted to do a music video the way she did for her new song Love Me Land, "Mostly cause I felt like I’ve had something to prove with my dancing." Just like at her concerts, Larsson wants to give her fans a full experience. "I want a full visual performance just as much as I want a good audio." Dancing, she says, is "a big part of me and my childhood."
