45 arrests have been made in a Newton County dog fighting ring. Deputies, assisted by Jasper County, served a warrant Saturday night on property off of FM 1004 In Call. Two dogs were inside a ring fighting when deputies arrived. Along with the arrests, over $73.000 dollars in cash was seized and 35 vehicles were towed from the property. The investigation is ongoing.
