The City of Beaumont would like to provide clarification regarding recent questions about water rates. The Beaumont City Council has voted to approve no increase in water rates for FY2026. This means, for residents with a standard 5/8-inch meter, rates remain at $16.79 for the first 1,000 gallons and $5.68 for each additional 1,000 gallons. This rate is unchanged from last year. Senior citizens (65+) will continue to pay the discounted rate of $11.11 for the first 1,000 gallons and $5.68 for each additional 1,000 gallons. In addition, these senior rates are now frozen going forward to help protect those on fixed incomes.If you are already enrolled in the senior discount program, no further action is needed. Residents who are not yet registered may apply online or in person at City Hall by completing the Senior Citizen Discount Application.
