Two are mayor races are heading to runoffs following Saturday’s election. In Beaumont, incumbent Roy West is in a runoff with former Mayor Robin Mouton. The runoff date is set for June 7th. In Port Arthur, Charlotte Moses and Charlie Lewis Jr and in a runoff. Current Mayor Thurman Bartie could not run again due to term limits. In other mayor races, Jeff Darby won the mayor’s race in Nederland. Misty Songe won reelection in Vidor, and in Jasper Clark McClane picked up 58% of the vote to defeat incumbent Anderson Land.
