The DPS is investigating a multi vehicle fatal accident in Orange in which a pickup that caused the wreck left the scene. Around 6:30 this morning an eastbound pickup on FM 1006 struck the back of an eastbound car pushing into the westbound lane. That car struck a oncoming SUV and a second westbound vehicle was involved in the crash. The driver of the eastbound car died at the scene. The pickup that initially struck the eastbound car left the sene. There were no other life-threatening injuries.
