CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System’s statement on preparing for winter storm
At CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System, the safety of our patients, Associates and community remains our top priority. In preparation for the anticipated winter storm, we have rescheduled all elective surgeries and procedures and closed the Outpatient Pavilion and Orthopedic Specialty Center on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22. We are proactively ensuring uninterrupted care by securing necessary supplies and essential resources to prioritize the care and safety for our patients.
Our inpatient and emergency facilities across southeast Texas will remain open. We are deeply grateful to our CHRISTUS Associates who are working around the clock to keep us running to carry out our mission to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ. This is not the first storm we have faced as a community, and we are confident in our ability to navigate it together. CHRISTUS Southeast Texas Health System is here to support our community, offering high-quality care when it is needed most.
