In the early hours of Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 1:53 am, Beaumont Police Department officers, who were off-duty and employed at Little Woodrow’s, responded to shots fired in the parking lot. Shortly after, a gunshot victim arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle. Witnesses reported that the victim had been driving erratically in the parking lot, nearly hitting a group of people who then ran after and shot at the vehicle. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
