Kate Middleton and Prince William rang in their 13th wedding anniversary with a photo that the world has never seen before. According to People, the photo, captured by Millie Pilkington, offers a special look inside the couple's big day in 2011. The lovebirds posted the stunning black-and-white portrait to their joint X account with the caption "13 years ago today!"

The snap in question was taken on the royal pair's wedding day (April 29, 2011) and, while it may just seem like another cherished moment; everything in the photo is very symbolic. People mentioned that the flower bouquet Middleton is holding is comprised of Queen Elizabeth's favorite flower, lily of the valley. The Princess of Wales is wearing Queen Elizabeth's Cartier Halo Tiara and a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown (that she wore during the ceremony at Westminster Abbey). Prince William is seen, standing behind Princess Kate, in the "red tunic of the Irish Guards."

The two have stood by each other through thick and thin since that very moment, and have presented a strong, united, and loving front amid Middleton's cancer battle.

The public became suspicious of The Princess of Wales' health after she underwent abdominal surgery at a private hospital in London in January. She did not attend public events for two months and later announced that she was diagnosed with cancer in a video shared to X on March 22nd.

Towards the end of the announcement, Middleton assured that she is "well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal in my mind, body, and spirit." The princess told followers that she wishes to heal in private with her family and would like the public to offer them some space as they navigate this time together.

Happy Anniversary, Prince William and Princess Kate!
