Prince William & Prince Harry Weren't Speaking Before Archie's Birth

Prince Harry Marries Ms. Meghan Markle - Windsor Castle

It wasn't that long ago when royal watchers were obsessing over the alleged feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. After months of speculation about why, exactly, the Duchesses were clashing behind the scenes of Kensington Palace, it was revealed that their husbands, Prince William and Prince Harry, were actually the ones at odds.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl opened up to Entertainment Tonight about the rift between the princes, revealing the arrival of Harry's son Archie has helped mend their relationship. "It's absolutely the case that the brothers did fall out," she confirmed. "I was told by a very senior royal source that actually they weren't talking to each other at one point. I certainly think now that Archie is here, it has probably really helped to improve the relationship. William is over-the-moon that his brother is a dad."

Nicholl previously reported on the bad blood between William and Harry in past, citing a clash over William's initial treatment of Meghan. "Harry felt William wasn’t rolling out the red carpet for Meghan and told him so," Nicholl reported. "They had a bit of a fall out which was only resolved when Charles stepped in and asked William to make an effort. That’s when the Cambridges invited the Sussexes to spend Christmas with them."

As for the supposed feud between Meghan and Kate? It appears the Duchesses are doing just fine. Nicholl told ET she's heard "that Kate has made herself available to Meghan if she needs advice, if she needs any help, and Kate said to her, I'm here. I'm here for you."
