My parents love music. All kinds. They would expose my sister and me to all kinds of different genres of music. From the country music, of the time, on the popular show "Hee Haw" to the funk, dance and R&B on "Soul Train". As a kid, I can vividly remember watching "Soul Train" with my mom and dad. I loved all the music and outfits they would wear on "Soul Train". I especial liked listening to that deep bass voice of the host of "Soul Train" Don Cornelius. It's one of my first memories of the effects of music had on me. That was the beginnings of my passion for music of all kinds.
Migos & Drake bring it back to the days of "Soul Train"...bell bottoms, over the top jewelry, the non-use of the top 3 buttons on your shirt under your leisure suit jack and big hair in their new video for "Walk It Talk It".
Check out a video of the best of "Soul Train" below.
