The first full solar eclipse since 1976 will be visible over the U.S. in a few days, on August 21st. So, as you can imagine, eclipse mania is in full force! Lots of people are planning viewing parties and even traveling to designated sites that, supposedly, have the best view of the rare occurrence. DO NOT look directly at an eclipse, its not safe and could ruin your vision. There are special glasses you can buy to protect yourself. But here's the problem. Like usual there are sever shmucks out there trying to rip people off, to make a few bucks and are selling people fake glasses. You can see them being sold all over the internet right now.
If you want to buy glasses for the eclipse, air on the side of caution and go to NASA's website where you'll get all the info you need to make sure the glasses you buy are the real ones.
Or you can check out the below video. NASA made it easy by using a cereal box, paper, and foil.
