The Top 5 French Fry Options

Tomorrow (July 13th) is National French Fry Day and the only way to celebrate this is by ranking french fries at different restaurants. Keep on reading and see if you agree with our ranking! Warning: you will FOR SURE be craving french fries after reading this.

5.Burger King

Burger King fries stir up debate with french fry enthusiasts because they are much thicker than their competitors. However, a lot of people could prefer this over thin fries. While they aren't at the top of our list, they aren't bad and still hit the spot when you're in the mood for some fries!

4.Five Guys

Surprisingly not as popular as other restaurants, Five Guys offers some pretty good fries. They always have the perfect amount of salt and the portion size is much bigger than other places. However, Five Guys makes all of their food in peanut oil, which means you won't be able to enjoy these fries if you have a peanut allergy.

3.Nathans

Next up is everyone's favorite crinkle cut fry: Nathan's! A staple for many sporting events, Nathan's fries taste nostalgic and remind us of good times. If you don't live near a Nathan's, don't worry! You can buy a pack of their fries at most grocery stores.

2.McDonald's

Most people debate about their favorite fast food restaurant, but many are in agreement that McDonald's has their favorite fries. Some may say that they're a bit salty, but you can always ask for no salt and add on as much as you prefer! The fact that they claim to have "World Famous Fries" pretty much sums it up.

1.Diner Fries

At the top of the list, even though it doesn't fit in with the other fast food restaurants above, is diner french fries. Not from a specific diner, but any classic American diner. You can always count on diner fries to taste fresh and have the right amount of salt. Also, since most diners are open 24 hours, you won't have to worry about them closing! You can enjoy those fries any hour of the AM without any regrets.

Even if your ranking isn't the same as ours, we can all agree that there's a lot of great options to buy some fries! Regardless, make sure you go out and get some tomorrow for National French Fry Day. A lot of restaurants are having special offers and are even giving out free fries to celebrate! Happy snacking!
