Nouri stopped by the studio to talk about her rise to fame! The 26 year old singer was born in a Syrian refugee camp following the bombing of her family's home in Kurdistan. Her family recognized her talent from a young age when she received a standing ovation during a grammar school performance of 'When You Believe' by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston.
Back in 2017 her song was featured in the soundtrack for "Daddy's Home 2." She recently released a single titled, "Where Do We Go From Here" which debuted #1 on the New Zealand Hot 20 charts in the first week of release.
