Indictments In Jefferson County

The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a Beaumont woman on a charge accident involving

injury or death. 29-year old Shelby Mone Douglas is accused of striking and killing a man then

leaving the scene. She was arrested later that night. The victim, 70-year old Russell Guillory was

pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred on South Major Drive in Beaumont on

April 25th.

A man that was shot during a robbery has been indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery. 33-

year old Desmond Ingram Jr. and a second suspect were shot by a citizen during the October 1st

robbery of the Church’s Chicken on Jefferson Drive in Port Arthur. Ingram survived the

shooting. The second suspect, 33-year old Richard Guient died following the shooting. No

charges have been filed against the shooter.

Twin brothers have been indicted in connection with an October 8th shooting in Port Neches.

22-year old Tevin and Devin McGhee are accused of shooting a man during a burglary in the

1900 block of 6th Street. The victim was shot multiple times and survived the shooting. Both

Tevin and Devin McGhee are being held on $500,000 bonds.
