Prince George Looks So Grown Up In New Photo With Queen Elizabeth’s Heirs

Queen Elizabeth kicked off the new year with a glamorous photoshoot. With the help of her three heirs, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George, the long-reigning monarch posed for a historic new photo, which celebrates 4 generations of the royal family.

"Happy New Year!" Kensington Palace's caption of the landmark photo reads. "A new portrait of The Queen and The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge and Prince George has been released to mark the start of a new decade."

This isn't the first time Queen Elizabeth has been photographed with the three heirs to her throne. Once before, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince George posed for a portrait with Queen Elizabeth, which marked the addition of Prince George to the line of inheritance for the first time.

The first photo was taken and released back in 2016 when Prince George was just 3-years-old. In the first photograph, the young royal stood on some books so he'd be as tall as his dad, grandpa and great-grandma while they were sitting down.

Now 6-years-old, Prince George is looking so grown up. In the latest photo, he's rocking a pair tartan pants when he's usually seen wearing shorts. He's all smiles, too, as she stands next to his grandpa and great-grandmother, who he calls Gan Gan.
