A man that pleaded guilty to 10 charges involving the sexual abuse of two children has been
sentenced to 40 years in prison. In September of last year two girls, ages 10 and 14 were
kidnapped and sexually abused by 43-year old Alfred Smith in Beaumont. Smith, who has
previously served 15 years for injury of a child, was sentenced to the 40 years yesterday by
Judge John Stevens.
