A man from Orange is in the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on a charge of aggravated
sexual assault of a child. Port Arthur police were called to a home in the 4000 block of
Brinkman Drive yesterday afternoon after a 7-year old girl told her mother the sexual assault had
just occurred. The 25-year old suspect fled the scene. He later turned himself in at the Port
Arthur Police Department. He was arrested and transported to jail.
