The DPS is investigating a fatality that occurred around 10:00 this morning in Orange County.
According to the accident report, a pickup was traveling west on FM 2802 when the driver
slowed to make a left turn into a private drive and was struck from behind by a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 30-year old Vidor man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has
not been released. The 39-year old driver of the pickup was not hurt.
